Assisted Living by Theresa- A Nurturing and Welcoming Assisted Living Home

They have been great.
We have no complaints at all. We love the nurse, and she is well taken care of and well fed. We love the one on one care. They are just great!

My husband has been with Theresa for 6 years. I am extremely happy with the care and caregivers. The caregiver to resident level is 4-5 to 1. You do not see that at the big corporate facilities. It is ALWAYS clean and bright with fresh flowers spotless facilities. The food is also amazing. They cook homemade meals, not processed , cheap food. They actually serve fresh fruit for a snack and with meals (you don't see this at the big over priced places) I highly recommend the small homes with individual care over the large corporate places with high turnover rates of CNA's. My husband has always been clean and well cared for! The communication is excellent if there is any concern. This is the way care should be done for the elderly!

I think that Theresa's Home Care is nice. They have a nice house and nice facilities. If my mom was more advanced, it would be good for her, but she's still a bit more active compared to the people living there currently. We took a tour and liked the place, including the quiet and the house atmosphere. But at the same time, it doesn't offer a whole lot more. The rooms were fine, they have a private room for one person only, and they also have rooms where two people can share at the same time. The place is clean, and the person running the place seems to be a very caring person. She does care about the place itself, and there's nothing lying around that makes me wonder what it's going to be. I don't know about their activities. When we visited the people weren't really moving around and they were pretty much just sitting in front of the TV. In terms of the staff, there was only one person to take care of everyone and that's about five to six people. She's a stay-in type of caregiver. If you're asking me if people should be checking out this place, then yes, especially considering the amount of money they're asking for. It depends on your loved one's situation.

Truly Feels Like Home!
Theresa's Home Care seems to be a wonderful fit for my father-in-law and his needs. The environment makes a person feel right at home and does not have the feel of the larger facilities. The care is very individualized and due to the size the caregiver can keep a close eye on all residents. Theresa and her staff seem to be very caring, honest people who truly have the best interests of the seniors in their care at heart. In the week and a half my father-in-law has been there he is a changed person. He went from a man who said he wanted to die to now being happy and cheerful as he is being well cared for and treated with dignity and respect. Theresa's caregiver at the home is an amazing woman who takes exemplary care of the 5 people in the home. The home is immaculately clean and all of the residents seem to be very well cared for. The caregiver seems to take pride in her work and seems to love what she does. She is very attentive and friendly to all of the people. I have visited during two meals she prepared. The meals are home cooked and look delicious. Within the time my father-in-law has been there, I have been contacted a few times by Theresa, the doctor, and the nurse. They seem to keep the family well informed of the resident's care and needs. Overall I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Theresa's Home Care.
